It’s The Season Of Giving - Donations with Well Connected

December! The traditional time to give presents and here at Well Connected we wanted to help our partner organisations with donations which will share happy and healthy smiles.

We gathered together 300 tubes of fluoride toothpaste, toothbrushes and our Open Wide and Step Inside storybooks which we donated to these two amazing Plymouth organisations:

We took a trip to LARK Children’s Centre who are based in Devonport, Morice Town and North Prospect. They deliver a variety of activities including, a weekly stay and play sessions as well as a baby weigh in clinic.

They told us that the December theme was Oral Health and we couldn’t have been more delighted to provide them with the ‘Happy Smiles’ gifts to distribute to local families.

They said:

“This is fantastic, these donations will really benefit our local families and the children will love the books!”

Our next stop was at the Leadworks Community Hub, based in Stonehouse, who provide community spaces alongside a community larder. The stash of toothpaste, toothbrushes and story books will be distributed to people when they access the community larder which offers a range of food items as well as other essentials.

Colleagues at Leadworks said:

“Thank you Well Connected for helping local families to keep their children’s teeth healthy by donating to the Food Larder.”

We are passionate about partnerships and are so pleased that these additional resources will help our colleagues and the people they support.
