Smiles all round

Reading to a child is one of life’s greatest pleasures and so we were thrilled to celebrate World Book Day 2022 by sending 6 of our followers a copy of our Open Wide and Step Inside storybook. We asked them to tell us about their favourite children’s book which included the marvelous Room on the Broom and the brilliant Guess How Much I Love You.

Open Wide and Step Inside is a story about a giant called Geoffrey who eats too many sweets and gets painful toothache. His friend Millie encourages him to visit Daisy the Dentist; he meets an array of characters along the way who each share a key message to help him look after his teeth!

We are super proud of the Open Wide project which was co-created with colleagues at Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise; a range of accompanying resources were also created which includes this fun and colourful book.

Our 6 lucky winners who live as far apart as Aberdeen to Pembrokeshire and everywhere in between, have each received a copy of the book together with a bundle of other goodies which encourage happy and healthy smiles for everyone.
