Lunchtime Listening with University of Plymouth Students

We were delighted to be asked by University of Plymouth’s Faculty of Health to conduct a series of ‘Lunchtime Listening’ sessions with Students. This took place over several days in different locations across the University of Plymouth.

The aim of this was to gather students ideas, thoughts and views surrounding their placements. Well Connected will be feeding back to the Faculty and collaborating with them on ways to enhance current student placements, as well as create new placement opportunities.

The Lunchtime Listening sessions were very well received by students, all keen to be involved in the future placement experiences. We had many interesting and thoughtful conversations with students about their placements; what they enjoy, what could be improved, and ideas they had for new placements.

One student told us:

“Its great to have an opportunity like this, reflecting on our placement experiences and thinking about different opportunities for the future.”

Stay tuned for more information about this and to hear about some focus groups that we will be facilitating around the placements for Faculty of Health students.
