Social Engagement Pathway
Working with 2nd year medical students within the community to work in partnership with local organisations, to develop and deliver health-related activities. More than 200 students delivering engaging and interactive sessions in 18 community settings, adding value to the curriculum.
Our Social Engagement Project model can be adapted and designed around any training curriculum to suit a variety of health professions. Examples of projects include:
Creating an engaging social media profile for a disability group.
Creating a healthy eating activity pack for children.
Delivering an exercise themed project for older people who attend a befriending group.
Read our blog post here which explains more about what this years’ students have been doing:
“This project has really helped me to better understand health for real people in real places.”
