Sharon’s Story

I’m Sharon, and I founded Campaign for Disability Awareness because as a mother bringing up children who have hidden illnesses and disabilities I had to advocate for them and came across so many barriers throughout society.

I believed that raising awareness was the way to bring down these barriers and be part of creating change in society so I have worked in many ways in Plymouth with events, media and interactive workshops which has been very popular throughout the years in helping the public as well as professionals gain an impactful and insightful experience.
