Happy Smiles in Luton with our latest Oral Health initiative

A selection of oral health resources for children including puzzle, books, play food.

We were delighted to be approached by the Public Health Manager for Children and Families within Luton Council to provide resources and materials as part of their on-going commitment to promote happy and healthy smiles across their communities.

We are pleased to have had the opportunity to curate Teeth on Tour boxes which will be distributed in 15 early years settings across the Luton area. The boxes contain a variety of colourful resources which encourage storytelling, active play and demonstration such as giant teeth, jigsaw puzzles, wooden play items, posters and display material.

A bespoke activity pack was also designed to encourage staff teams in early years settings to include dental wellbeing messages in themes and activities. Information cards, activity sheets, top tips, toothbrushing charts and much more will help staff to share prevention messages with families in fun and accessible ways.

Neila Agyeman, Luton Council Public Health Manager for Children & Families told us;

“The Teeth on Tour boxes look amazing! The contents will really help us to share key messages quickly and easily with our families. Well Connected’s advice, help and guidance has been brilliant, and we look forward to maintaining our connection with them.”

Andrew Dean, Chief Executive of Well Connected said;

“We are thrilled that the Teeth on Tour boxes are being used in the Luton area to encourage children and their families to discover more about healthy and happy smiles.  We are excited about developing our relationship with the Luton Public Health team and supporting them as this initiative develops.”
